Our Hands
We value our volunteers dearly as they continually help us achieve so many things.
We call them our HANDS.
There are many ways you can help us out, be it assisting with events, organising ribbons for tying on fences, administrative, governance (our Board), graphics, photography, etc.
We have volunteer spots for individuals, groups and businesses keen to lend to a hand.
We also understand that volunteers come and go, so we have roles that fit in with all lifestyle situations (volunteering is sometimes tricky when we are busy etc.).
Volunteering is a great way to build up confidence, gain social skills and learn practical knowledge that you can use in everyday life or in work.
We especially encourage survivors to volunteer. Not only is it a great way to connect into a positive grassroots group to meet others who have your shared lived experience. Where you can participate in social support groups and events in a safe environment.
